Its installer is disctinctive because it does not have "CCM" in the name.įor those who are curious, the SHA256 hash for the ProDesignTools download is 155a91e2c90927a05ccaa244a99fed4784fa7cf26d08c634f5f111629f6b0418. Regardless of the reason, anyone else looking to license Lightroom 5.7.1 on macOS should give the ProDesignTools link a try. That may explain the extra "CCM" in the name of the installer file. It appears that the official Adobe download version launches a different app to perform the licensing, whereas the version form ProDesignTools asks for your key from within Lightroom itself. I'm not sure why, but the installer from ProDesignTools installs the same version of Lightroom, but it works with my key. Supposedly ProDesignTools is an official Adobe partner and provides download links to some of their older versions. However, I contacted Adobe support and was told I should download this version: That looked like the most legitimate source. The version I was trying to install was downloaded from: I got my official key off of and tried to enter it into Lightroom and was told my key was incorrect. I had the same issue when trying to install Lightroom 5.7.1 on macOS 10.13.1.
